The Whole Practice, Under One Roof

A Curriculum for Healthy Aging.

Most people piece together healthy aging on their own. A gym for strength. A studio for yoga. Somewhere else for recovery. Here, those pieces are one practice. The Center is built around the full set of things you need to age well: meditation and breath, strength and mobility, restorative yoga and rest, with a personalized read on your own health. One day trains the body. Another restores it. Another quiets the mind. On their own they help. Practiced together, in a steady rhythm, they change how you age. The Center makes its home on Palatine Park Road in Germantown, and you practice alongside others who are after the same thing: more good years.

One Practice, All Week

Weekly Schedule.

The week is built as one practice, not a menu of classes. Each day brings a different stimulus, rotated on a rhythm the body can sustain. Mornings are live online, all times Eastern; weekday middays and Saturday are in person in Germantown.

What You’ll Practice

Class Types.

Morning Meditation and Breathwork

Live online. Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 6:55 AM ET.

Twenty-five minutes that steady the mind before the day takes it. A guided practice of breathwork and meditation: comfortable seat, energizing breath, and learning to watch your thoughts without being run by them. Cameras off, just voice, so you can practice from a chair, a cushion, or the floor. Done daily, the returns compound: sharper focus, calmer mornings, and sleep that truly restores you. For anyone who wants a clearer, steadier mind in the second half of life.

Strength, Mobility & Balance

In person and live online. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:00 to 7:35 AM ET.

Thirty-five minutes, three mornings a week. Move continuously through strength, mobility, and balance work designed to keep the body capable and responsive. Build the strength to climb stairs without thinking. Train the balance to recover from a stumble. Maintain the mobility to keep doing what you love. Short and deliberate: enough to make the body adapt, never so much that you pay for it the next day. For adults in the second half of life and beyond who want to age with strength, not surrender.

Functional Strength Training

In person. Tuesday and Thursday, 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

The class that keeps you capable: lifting, carrying, climbing stairs, getting up off the floor with ease. We build strength progressively and safely, at a pace that meets your body where it is. Trained twice a week, the gains are real and measurable: stronger tendons, denser bones, a faster metabolism, better posture. No gym experience needed, and you start exactly where you are. This is the training that protects your independence.

Restore & Renew

In-person monthly workshop. 12:00 to 2:00 PM, last Sunday of every month.

Light movement gently warms and opens the body before settling into restorative postures designed to down-regulate the nervous system, cultivate deep rest, and channel healing vibrations through the body. Bolsters, blankets, and props hold you in each shape, so the body has nothing to brace against and can finally let go. The postures are held long enough for the nervous system to shift out of doing and into being: the breath slows, the shoulders drop, and the day’s tension unwinds on its own. Come on a depleted day, after a hard week, or whenever life has outrun your recovery. Open to every level, no experience needed. You leave calm, clear, and rested, not wrung out, with more in reserve for the days ahead.

Vinyasa Krama

In person. Saturday, 10:00 to 11:30 AM. 90 minutes.

For the experienced practitioner who has no intention of coasting. This ninety-minute practice gives you the full yoga toolbox: extended pranayama, meditation, a challenging sequence of postures, and a guided yoga nidra to close, so you leave with a complete practice rather than postures alone. The sequence flows continuously, one posture into the next, and krama is the art of honoring the timing, rhythm, and transitions between them. Because it moves this way, some yoga experience is necessary. Intermediate and advanced practitioners practice side by side, with modifications offered throughout, but a true beginner would find it hard to follow. Vinyasa Krama works the body, steadies the mind, and leaves room for the spirit to shine through.
