  3. Study Yoga Sutra 1.12 Practice non-attachment: Let go of expectations and enjoy the journey. Remember that yoga is not just about the physical postures, but also about the inner transformation that comes with consistent practice.
  4. Breath: Connect your breath with your movements. This will help you to stay present and calm.
  5. Rest and recover: Allow yourself time to rest and recover between practices. This will help you to avoid burnout and stay motivated.
  6. Challenge yourself: Once you feel comfortable with a posture, try to deepen it or hold it for longer. This will help you to progress and continue to see results.
  7. Patience: Don't expect to master a posture overnight. It takes time, so be patient with yourself.
  8. Modification: Don't be afraid to modify a posture if it doesn't feel right for your body. Work with a teacher to find alternatives.
  9. Alignment: Pay attention to proper alignment in each posture. This will help you to avoid injury and progress in your practice.
  10. Focus on the long game: Stay focused on the development of your practice, and don't compare yourself to others. Everyone's journey is unique.
